Steve on Reading

I think Steve is spot on about people reading when commenting on the Amazon Kindle. Let’s face it, most Americans are impatient and/or lazy and want instant gratification. Skip to the movie most people would say and ignore the book. I’m in the same camp, just not a book reader and prefer the movie.

It doesn’t matter how good or bad the product is, the fact is that people don’t read anymore,” he said. “Forty percent of the people in the U.S. read one book or less last year. The whole conception is flawed at the top because people don’t read anymore.

iTunes Ringtones

First off let me say I can’t stand ringtones. I never really cared for them and prefer a regular “ring-ring” tone or just enable vibrate. I think music and voice ringtones are just irritating to people with earshot of the phone.

I decided to check out the iTunes ringtones just to give it a peek. What the hell. At least I could pick the part of the song I like and make it less obtrusive and subtle. Of the 11,673 tracks I have in iTunes I only have 1 track purchased from iTunes. Most of my songs came from CD’s, so that kinda sucks. I can’t even rip my other songs.
