Welcome to my little place on the web. I have been blogging off and on since 2004. In recent years I haven’t blogged as much and have been posting on Twitter. The topics on my blog are mostly about Technology, Apple and other social topics I feel like commenting on.
First a little about me
I’m sarcastic, detailed, passionate, analyzing, neurotic, impatient, extroverted, humorous, social, distracted and geeky. I’m an apple geek, old movie buff, friend of dogs, german car aficionado, hockey fan, music lover and beer connoisseur. That’s it, one paragraph pretty much sums it up.
To delve deeper… I pretty much enjoy life and all it has to offer. I have a absolutely beautiful wife and two awesome dogs and we currently live in Orlando, FL. We both long to move somewhere that has more seasons, arts & culture and more then flatter topography.
I worked for Disney for close to 20 years which has been a blast. I also worked in the tech industry from installation to software troubleshooting to teaching folks how to use Windows. I also have a brief still at Apple retail. Those days are gone and I now happily work for Swedish home furnishing company, IKEA.
I am pretty much an all around tech geek and early adopter of new tech ideas and projects that pop on to scene. Even though I no longer work in the tech field, I’m still the go to guy for troubleshooting anything tech related within my circle of friends. Yeah, I’m that guy. If it wasn’t for work I would only use Apple computers. I have owned close to every Apple product under the sun over the years, from an Apple //e to the first iPod to my current MacBook Pro.
I use to program in Basic way back when and have been interested in learning the Objective-C language. I’m finding it hard to spend time with this and now placed my development on the back burner as I devote most of my time to work and home life. I have some ideas for iPhone app’s and It still remains a goal of mine.
I enjoy traveling. I’m a huge fan of the geo-location game Gowalla. I’m an avid player trying to collect all the items I can. Feel free to friend me.
